Stereotypes are less powerful when we act and even more so when a singular voice becomes one of many in a chorus. It is more beautiful when our words are matched with actions. Involvement is saying Yes! to our abilities and acknowledging that knowledge is dynamic.

Sometimes women tend to be less assertive than men about life’s choices; careers, dreams, and goals. We bother about perception and what roles and careers are ideal for women. One step away from speaking up, grabbing an opportunity or challenge is a step away from broadening our views, building up our abilities and keeping the doors closed.

How we express ourselves and doing so boldly could be the reformation needed for women and girls to get going about their dreams and career paths.

Involvement builds numbers and grows support.
